As a Data Protection Executive Officer, you ensure compliance of the company with personal data protection regulations, in close cooperation with Data Protection Officer (DPO) and, that proper processes and remediation documentation are in place. Your day to day Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

• Ensure that all data protection related procedures of ING Hubs Romania are timely and correctly updated and implemented
• Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of ING Hubs Romania and with Data Protection Executive (DPE) delegates of other branches and of the business partners
• Monitor the implementation of the data protection local procedures and cooperates with other 1st line of defense teams when the yearly key control testing takes place
• Follow-up on the local projects of the global GPDP programs and implement the project requirements into business-as-usual tasks
• Responsible for performing periodical checks to validate the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
• Provide support to Business lines for performing Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA), and balancing tests (LIA), when necessary
• Investigate the reported data breaches and liaise with ING Hubs Romania’s DPO
• Prepare and report on GPDP related metrics
• Contribute to creation and delivery of the training & awareness GPDP plan

• Experience: min. 2 years of experience in the internal control/ internal audit/ legal field, preferably in a similar business environment (banking/ IT) and connected to the personal data protection area
• Foreign languages: English (advanced)
• Education: An administration/ audit/ legal academic background (bachelor’s degree)
