    Client Description:

    We are looking for an outstanding commercial director, hard working, ambitious, self motivated and able to deliver under pressure. Our client is a leading distributor of commercial vehicles in Romania with a cumulative turnover of more than 130 mil/Eur in 2023 and a plan to grow to more than 220 mil/Eur in 2023 via acquisitions and organic growth. They are also launching a captive sales financing operations fully integrated with their automotive operations. As a Commercial Director your main duty will be to develop and implement commercial strategies in line with our company targets. You will be a direct report to the company CEO (also main shareholder of the group). As your role is key to the client's strategy, they are expecting you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and serve as an example to all your team members.

    Ability to deliver on the agreed profitability/sales targets;

    Ability to select and enroll high value new members within the commercial team;

    Lead diverse teams such as marketing and sales providing leadership, guidance, expertise and management in a manner that fosters collaboration, engagement and motivation;

    Develop and once approved implement and deliver commercial plans;

    Making sure that the company operational capital invested in the business (stock of new and used vehicles) is in line with the budget;

    Implementing the pricing and production mix strategies in line with the agreed budget and proposing revision when appropriate to avoid compromising the overall business profitability targets;

    Perform market research, collect market intelligence and analyze threats and opportunities.


    Candidate Profile:

    Requirements:

    University degree or higher;

    Commercial vehicles industry expert with a proven track record of professional growth;

    Hands on approach to sales and to support the sales team (a gifted professional in terms of ability to deliver deals and sales leads). Availability to travel extensively across Romania;

    Previous working experience as a commercial director and in managing a sales and marketing team;

    Experience in a multinational company is an advantage;

    Ability to understand the financial implications related to commercial strategy and ability to understand financial reporting and budgeting;

    Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills;

    Outstanding communication and presentation skills; Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills;

    Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success;

    Proficient in English, any other additional language is a plus.
