    LSEG is looking for a highly motivated & experienced software developer to join a distributed team and play a key role in building the News applications for professional in financial markets with the latest front-end technology stack. You will work with various technologies such as TypeScript, Node.JS and AWS to develop News web applications and services for the Refinitiv Workspace Platform.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop new user-facing features with top quality, performance, reusable code and web components
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
    • Participate in agile development practice, requirement reviews and estimation, features demos, and code reviews
    • Demonstrate a focus on quality, through unit testing, integration testing and peer reviews, ensuring software meets requirements.
    • Seek out new technologies and ideas to add value to our products or processes



    Expected Qualifications:

    • Professional experience in software development
    • Experience in front-end web application development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and shared component libraries, e.g. React, Angular
    • Familiar in multi-tier web architecture with Node.JS, Web Server technologies
    • Experienced with browser tuning and web performance optimization techniques/tools
    • Familiar with web standards and protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS and socket APIs in general
    • Familiar with continuous build and integration and code management tools (GitLab, Git Pipeline or Jenkins)
    • Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
    • Experience with Agile methodology for software development cycle such as scrum.
    • Ideally experience in working at large Enterprise organization with different stakeholders.
    • Good communication skills, reliable team player, independent, and self-organized.
    • Good in both verbal and written in English
