Associate Tech Lead

Role Purpose

Applies advanced knowledge of business requirements and software development lifecycles to design, produce and guide the development of complex software solutions and coordinates team activities.

Role Responsibilities

• Develops software solutions by following the software development lifecycle
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarising development and service issues
• Supports and develops team members by providing advice, coaching and development opportunities
• Coordinates the team of Developers, Senior Developers and Lead Developers
• Maintains accountability for the work product

Role Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software industry including hands on software development with C++ with at least 1 year experience in a lead role responsible for a scrum team.
• Significant knowledge and experience on STL, Boost.
• Experience in Linux base operating systems
• Hands-on experience in tools like VTune, Coverity, Purify, Valgrind ASAN, TSAN and gdb (or similar tools used for static and dynamic code analysing and debugging)
• Experience in GTest or a similar unit test framework.
• Knowledge and experience on CMake, Conan or similar build/package management tools.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
