For our business partner, a dynamic SaaS start-up that created one of the most practical solutions to reduce chaos and bring order to the support process, we are looking for a for a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of their products.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be liaising with the Developers and Project Manager to identify and test key features of software programs. Apart from testing, you should be able to develop well-planned and structured test plans/cases.

The product is a platform that can work by itself, as well as in conjunction with complementary solutions and you will join a team with extended professional history together, in their endeavor to position it on the market.

Requirements

At least 5+ years work experience as a QA Automation Tester
Expertise in automation testing tools like Junit4/5, Selenium or other automated tests
Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
Understanding of testing protocols
Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
Familiarity with the software development process
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively
Ability to manage project deadlines
Good time management and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related.

Planning and prioritizing testing activities
Coordinating with the development team to discuss verification protocols
Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
Suggesting automated software test procedures
Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
Pointing out problem areas and preparing automation scripts
Creating test plans and cases
Preparing detailed test reports
Prioritizing and executing tests
Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
