We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies. Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs Romania and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj. With the help of 1400 engineers, risk and operations professionals, we offer 150 services in tech, non-financial risk & compliance, audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide. Our tech capabilities remain the core of our business, with more than 1100 colleagues active in Data Management, Touchpoint Channels & Integration and Core Banking. About {Dev}School {Dev}School is all about developing your DevOps skills in an intense and fun learning experience. During this training:

• You’ll get hands-on experience working with Git, Bash, Python, Docker and Kubernetes;
• You will learn how to automatize recurring tasks that are now made manually by the Ops team.

• You will be part of a team of 10-15 students
• The learning experience will last 8 weeks, between 28 February – 11 April, 2023
• The program is organized in 2 sessions / week (Tuesday and Thursday evenings)
• Each session will last 3 hours and will take place on-site, at ING Hubs’ office (you will need to bring with you a laptop with administrator rights)

• A student in final study year or a recent graduate (2 years max, Bachelor or Master) of Computer Science/Cybernetics University;
• A good team player and a logical thinker, who has a good eye for details;

• Knowledge about Unix-based operating systems;
• Basic knowledge of cloud concepts;
• Is familiar with languages used for scripting and automation;

• Good command of English.

• Your Progress – the trainer’s positive feedback on your class interactions and attendance;
• Your Results - very good technical results during the training programme;
• Your Interest and Availability to work full-time/part-time (flexible work schedule).

• You can apply until the 31st  of January, 2023;
• If your CV is selected, you will participate in an online technical testing phase between the 3rd - 6th of February;
• If you pass the testing phase, you will participate in an interview scheduled by us somewhere between 10th – 22nd of February;
