University graduate (Computer Science, Cybernetics or similar)
Previous experience on a similar Data Analyst / Reporting job;
Solid understanding of Excel/Ms Access, including VBA (to handle / develop custom reports)
Solid understanding of any popular programming languages (e.g. python) would be a plus
Solid understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, SSIS
Good knowledge or previous experience working with Google Cloud Platform – Analytics tools
Ability to work with strict delivery terms and competitive and wide-ranging environment

(Optional/Nice to have) technical skills:

Knowledge of new wave programming - like Python - would be considered a plus
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, EasyBI or any other reporting visualization applications
Knowledge of Business Objects (to handle / develop reports in BO)

Objective of the role

Has overall responsibility for a variety of Data Analytics scope.
Extracts, compiles and interprets key operational and statistical data.
Will be responsible for the overall approach to reporting and analysis within the Global Site Romania.
Develop new processes to increase the efficiency of reporting and consolidate & maintain departmental reports used internally and externally by parties such as to other groups, senior management, etc.
Develop and maintain new standardized reporting on a routine basis, i.e., define, build, automate, and maintain operational recurring reports and visualizations.
Maintain a reporting schedule and documentation of reporting procedures. Generate and keep control of documentation and methodologies to align with governance audits and regulatory requirements. Will also build audit process to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
Perform ad-hoc duties in accordance to business needs and other requirements received through the Demand Management process.

Responsibilities

Build / design new reports/visualizations/analysis based on requests
Document of the new reports and modify it or maintain it for existing ones.
Evaluate the effort needed for the role specific activities
Perform LCM of specific items generated through analytics processes
Maintenance of the reporting/Data Analytics environment
Collaborate with other teams to achieve goals regarding Data Analytics scope

The position will consist of three main service areas:

Automating procedures for data extraction from various tools and platforms, some being external/customer-side
developing, maintaining and modifying the Data Analytics platform used for reporting for Operations and other teams involved in MS contract deliveries
migrating reports/visualizations to new modernized systems when this is happening
