    This role is based in the Michelin Shared Services Center in Bucharest, Michelin Corporate & Business Services, where more than 700 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Sales Administration, Personnel and Service Management.


    The Travel Specialist will:

    • Act as Subject Matter Expert on travel related activities (mostly written communication) and help the company meet its business travel needs through ensuring excellent employee assistance during pre-trip and post-trip communication;
    • Revise systematically the business travel policy of the company and propose the necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with local regulations and legislation as well as the compliance with eventual changes in company’s procedures and systems;
    • Manage all travel suppliers relationships and programs (agency, air, hotel, car rental, and other relevant travel services) in the area of responsibility and contributes to the optimization of the booking, payment and settlement systems by setting appropriate parameters and facilitating the implementation of system updates;
    • Prepare and provide monthly/quarterly reports distribute, whenever requested, travel data reporting, tracking travel performance and compliance indicators and propose solutions to optimize the results;
    • Analyze employees’ expense reports to ensure the compliance with travel policy’s requirements and communication with the employees for conformity of submitted documentation, and request of additional information when necessary.
    What we’re looking for:
    • Professional experience in travel and tourism position would be a plus;
    • Fluent in English and Hungarian;
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially of Excel for data analysis);
    • A team-worker attitude and customer-oriented approach;
    • Attention to details, rigorousness, patience, good organization and good communication skills.
