For our business partner – one of the pioneer companies in implementing Big Data projects on the Romanian market, we are looking to extend the team in Bucharest by hiring a talented Java Developer.

Together with the team, you will analyze, develop, test, and document Java applications. You will help with ensuring a good quality of the written code and the constant improvement of the existing one (sonar, clean code & boy scout rule).


Your profile:

At least 3-4 years experience in a similar role;
Experience in software development with a focus on Java programming and Spring Boot Framework;
Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL), JPA, CI/CD tools, Docker, Docker Compose and Kubernetes;
Proven experience with microservices;
Good experience with Unit testing& Integration tests
Ability to identify problems in complex scenarios (software and hardware) that span multiple technologies and systems;
A good team player;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.


Nice to have:

Event Sourcing Architecture;
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Google, Azure);
Frontend (ReactJs/ AngularJs/ VueJs).

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for planning, development and operation of web applications for our partner's products;
Be involved in the development of Java web applications- microservices for application server;
Ensure that all development work is carried out with a consistently high level of quality.
