Mazars is hiring a German payroll specialist. In this position, you will work with our international clients to deliver seamless payroll services across one or multiple jurisdictions.
You will be responsible for the payroll service delivery, as part of an international and dynamic HR/ payroll team.
Job requirements:
Education: Graduate – Bachelor/ master’s in economics, Business, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a payroll accounting/ payroll consulting role, ideally in a professional services firm
Minimum 2 years of payroll service experience in dealing with international clients and projects
Fluent in German and English
Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into solutions
Excellent MS office skills
Experience in working with the DATEV software is a plus
A team player that shows flexibility and perseverance in managing a good working relationship with colleagues and internal stakeholders
Customer orientation, detail focused and problem-solving attitude
Previous successful client service experience is considered an advantage
Ability to analyze, prioritize and execute tasks
Experience of working in a global, virtual environment is considered an advantage
Responsibilities:
You will independently work on the payroll accounting of our national and international clients;
Introducing amounts into the electronic bank system of our customers for the payment of salaries and related social contributions and taxes;
You will answer a wide range of questions on payroll and social security law as well as tax law issues;
You will manage payroll accounts and personnel files, maintain master data and take care of communication with the tax authorities, health insurance funds and public authorities;
In addition, you can actively participate in the continuous development and optimization of wage and salary processes.
