    Qualifications

    o At least 2 years of experience in project management for the automotive industry and mechanical design;
    o Knowledge of existing design methods like FMEA, DFMA, V-Model;
    o Eager to work with the newest automotive technologies, understand complex systems and shape the behavior of the future cars;
    o Proactive and you adapt easily to new development environment, but don't worry, we will be there every step of the way, supporting each other;
    o Self-motivated and take ownership of your tasks and projects;
    o Team player and offering and receiving feedback comes naturally;
    o Not afraid to think outside the box and try to find creative approaches to your challenges;
    o English - a good level is mandatory;

    Nice to have:
    o Willing to travel;
    o German - it is not mandatory, but it is an advantage;

    Job Description

    We lead projects with full responsibility along the entire product lifecycle of Electronic Control Units. We lead the mechanical design activities with both our external and internal partners in order to reach the project goals. Our projects range from new developments to customer adaptations of existing products, starting from quotation phase to after series introduction.
    You will be responsible for leading project teams and activities for the mechanical technological development of electronic control systems.

    In your role you will:
    o Lead mechanical design activities for electronic control units used in automotive applications in an international team, starting from quotation until start of production;
    o Be in charge to be the main technical contact person for mechanical design towards customers and suppliers;
    o Estimate product, tooling and engineering cost;
    o Track and control quality, budget and timing targets;
    o Cooperate with international development partners and Bosch production plants;
    o Prepare and maintain project documents according to Bosch quality system;
    o Report regularly to management about project status (risks, issues etc.);
    o Meet regularly with the customers (OEM's);
