Category Manager/Buyer

• Experience of at least 5 years in a similar position (purchases, trade);
• Experience in fish procurement will be considered an advantage;
• Logistic knowledge;
• Availability to travel in Romania and abroad (approximately 2 times/month);
• Knowledge of advanced English, Italian considered a plus;
• Good negotiator, positive attitude;
• Organized and attentive to details;
• PC operating knowledge - Microsoft Suite;
• Driving Licence – B category

• Examining market demands, identifying potential suppliers, and requesting pricing quotes;
• Researching the fish and seafood market to identify new opportunities;
• Negotiating and finalizing contracts with suppliers and preparing necessary documentation for orders;
• Planning purchases together with the superior, according to market requirements and customer needs;
• Maintaining supplier relationships to resolve common situations;
• Monitoring the execution of contracts and handling the purchased product: purchase-receipt;
• Registering information regarding purchases with attention to: costs, delivery, quality, stocks;
• Continuously monitoring the profile market regarding purchase/delivery conditions in order to optimize stocks;
• Monitoring and coordinating transport, customs operations, storage and delivery of goods through all transport systems (road, air, sea, etc);
• Updating/developing the supplier database;
• Preparing specific purchasing reports;
• Following trends in fish consumption in Romania to identify new possibilities for developing the company's portfolio.
