The Enterprise Customer Success Systems Engineer plays an important role in Veeam's customer success and retention efforts. This candidate will work remotely with our EMEA-based customers, as a post-sales systems engineer providing technical product and best practices guidance to ensure our customers maximize the value of their Veeam purchase. We are seeking a candidate who is not only fluent in English but also exhibits strong collaboration skills, effective communication, and a proven technical background across various Veeam products and associated technologies. This candidate should possess a genuine drive to maximize customer success and achieve positive outcomes. Proficiency in German, French or Italian is also highly desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
Conduct virtual customer meetings and lead the technical discussion
Conduct virtual customer presentations and demonstrations
Collaborate with the customer/partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
Independently consult with customers to provide technical expertise on data protection
Coordinate closely with Internal Teams, such as Technical Support and Licensing
Work closely with Product Management to provide customer feedback
Ability to travel 20%
Requirements
Demonstrated experience with Veeam products in a technical role
Industry-based experience with data protection technologies
Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies
Industry-based experience in storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies strongly desired
Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks
Experience in data life-cycle management strongly desired
Experience in customer-facing roles strongly desired
Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly
Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
Excellent time management skills required
Language: English fluency required, both spoken and written; additional languages a plus
Knowledge:
Knowledge of deployment of software solutions into complex environments
Deep level understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
VMCE or VMCA certification preferable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups
Other Industry relevant professional certifications is desirable
