Associate's degree preferred in Paralegal Studies
4+ years of experience in Compliance and/or Legal Counsel
Fluent knowledge of Romanian and English, other European language is plus
Complete routine legal work, including but not limited to: assist with contract processes, prepare and review routine contracts, maintain and coordinate the filing of corporate records, conduct legal research, maintain legal records and update information in systems, and coordinate of the execution, notarization and legalization of documents, as well as any other formalities required.
Support the EMEA business teams with all and any requests related to powers of attorney and required formalities
As directed by Area Legal Counsel, act as a liaison between internal CHS business leaders and external legal service providers
Collaborate with Area Legal Counsel in implementing best practices in meeting legal needs of the EMEA business, and engage in sharing best practices across broader portions of the EMEA Region and the CHS Legal Department
Collaborate with Area Legal Counsel and enterprise Compliance team to provide coordinated support for compliance activities in EMEA
Collaborate with the Area Legal Counsel to support the management of claims and litigation in EMEA
Provide support to Area Legal Counsel and EMEA business teams to ensure processes are set for efficient internal billing, standardization of terms with outside counsels and structuring matter management processes.
Provide support to Area Legal Counsel on monitoring legal spend and assessing legal budget.
Champion and promote a strong safety culture, follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations, identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
