The function "Customer Disposition" is responsible for safeguarding the flow of information and material transfer towards the customer. Besides an explicit orientation to customer requirements the Customer Disposition has to check plausibility of customer demands and take into account a cost-effective use of resources and cost-optimized processes.
-Receive customer call-offs from the customer and check error log as well as the demand pattern to identify potential flaws and define appropriate countermeasures.
-Assist in the creation of new scheduling agreements as a substitute for the sales department.
-Check orders due for deliveries & create delivery notes / shipping documentation and invoice processing.
-Identify customer order backlog and define countermeasures / recovery plan.
-Notify forwarder and/or customer in regard to shipping activities.
-Evaluate customer requests in terms of (earlier) deliveries.
-Return defective customer product.
-Receipt and disposition determination of defective products as defined by the customer claims based on quality team`s input, including goods receipt, blocking of parts and issuing of credit notes.
-Evaluate the customer deliver performance using customer portals.
-Maintain customer portals in terms of logistic requirements.
-Provide input for capability analysis of production based on customer forecasts, using specific tools (client portal, SAP, etc.).
-Participate in budget planning.
-Coordinate and develop customer disposition team in order to respect customers deliveries schedule by proper tool utilization and ensures data quality, correct usage, and staff training for SAP system (SD & MM modules) and setup of reports generated by SAP or other methods.
-Participate in yearly salary evaluation rounds to evaluate team members.
-Supervise staff, including training, setting expectations/yearly targets and holding team members accountable, including progressive discipline.
We are looking for:
-Operational experience within SC logistics.
SAP/ IT knowledge.
-Bachelor`s degree or similar or qualification within production / logistics / controlling.
-Min. 4 years of professional experience in a similar position.
-Leadership experience & great communicator.
-Skills in reporting and controlling; moderation and presentation; consulting and facilitating skills.
