We are currently seeking an Audit Manager to join our KPMG Romania Team Extension projects for Financial Services & Commercial dedicated teams in Audit Delivery Academy in Bucharest.
(We are flexible in terms of location; in cases where location is an issue we are open and flexible to accommodate colleagues working from other cities/remotely).

On KPMG Romania Team extension project you will manage central teams in-charge mainly with audit execution and handling a large portfolio of clients, less complex of medium to small size, allowing you to achieve highest efficiency, with the help of audit robots.

What are we looking for?

• Qualifications (ACCA, CAFR or other similar accounting frameworks) would be a plus.
• At least 6 years of audit and assurance services experience on medium to large clients in commercial or Financial Services industries.
• Knowledge of the Romanian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Good knowledge of the Romanian market and the Romanian business environment or other relevant GAAP and market.
• Ability to produce quality work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Romanian – other European languages will be considered a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated person, eager to acquire experience and build a career in a professional environment and with a strong team work spirit.
• Good team manager and team member.

What will you do? 

• Work on Audit engagements
• Lead project teams on international or Romanian clients.
• Develop junior and experienced staff by providing on the job training and appropriate performance feedback.
• Identify training needs and act as a trainer
• Assist management with KPIs analysis and related performance reports.
• Participate to process improvement and automation, where applicable
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with client management.
• Contribute to the business development of the portfolio of clients.
