As our new colleague you will develop new functionalities, part of a global LSEG DAAPI team. The role will also require some troubleshooting of production incidents and as such may require some out of hours work.
The project: Data Access APIs (DAAPI) building block builds technology capabilities required to extract content from RDP Core Storage, present it for distribution and enforce content permissions
Data Access provides access to all data on Refinitiv Data Platform, and all content extractions execute via this layer. It presents data for distribution and executes entitlement enforcement
- Review, analyze, and modify software systems as needed.
- Collaborate with users and other IT teams to maintain, develop and deploy the best solutions
The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
- Min 2 years Java experience ideally with Application Servers (Spring)
- Some experience with development tooling (Jira, Confluence, Gitlab) and CI/CD applications (Jenkins, Terraform, GitLabCI)
- Good database and SQL experience (ideally MySQL/MariaDB)
- Exposure to AWS Components ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Aurora
- Proven ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner
- Effectively collaborate with peer group (Scrum/Agile team)
- Effectively communicate with our Business Partners: end-users, user groups and product owners
- Experience with Angular, (TypeScript)
- Knowledge of GraphQl
- Exposure to Rest API design and understanding.
- Spring Webflux
