Check out your future responsibilities below

* You will manage the hardware development of vehicle brake systems, motorcycle brake systems, and air suspension systems
* You will be directly responsible for all HW related activities between RFQ and SOP
* You will take part in the quotation process, during which you will be in direct contact with the customer to clarify the project's scope and milestones
* You will be the main contact person for all HW related topics, both internally in Continental but also for the OEMs you will be working with
* You will plan, monitor, and coordinate all development activities for multiple application projects, with project and customer teams spread across multiple locations. This involves:
* Creating a project schedule which takes into account assumptions and identified constraints
* Providing a resource estimation for all projects or change requests in your responsibility
* Tracking the customer milestones and ensuring that the milestones are met
* Identifying any risks that might pop up during the development process, and developing and implementing the necessary countermeasures to mitigate those risks
* Aligning with internal and customer project teams for planning the necessary activities and for delivering the necessary products or work-products
* All in all, you will be responsible for delivering the end product in time, with the expected quality, and within the expected budget

Essential Skills/Qualifications:


* University degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
* Relevant experience (+4 years) in a technical project (preferably in the Automotive Industry), out of which +2 years managing a technical project
* PMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus
* Very good English speaking and writing skills (German is a plus)
* Independent and motivated personality
* Ability to work as part of an international team spread over multiple locations
* Excellent presentation and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong decision-making skills
* Team player
