• Advanced knowledge of Linux/Streaming/CDN technologies (origin/cache-concept, packaging, HLS, DASH, ultra-low-latency streaming).
• Familiar with TV technology (DVB, MPEG TS, SI, CA) and internet protocols (HTTP, RTP, UDP, ARP, ICMP)
• Advanced knowledge related to IPTV/OTT systems and equipment (signal aggregation, encoding formats, multiplexing, signal distribution, playlist-generation, OTT player technologies).
• Proven ability to capture and analyse system/network traces (e.g. Wireshark, Fiddler, Charles).
• Knowledge related to micro-services-based architecture and containerization.
• Understanding of network security practices including the use of VPNs, ACLs and firewalls.
• Advanced communication skills, capability to work in a multi-national environment, advanced spoken/written English language knowledge.
• 5 or more years of experience in TV, IT System Administration/Telecommunication area.
• 2-3 years of experience in operations and support of AV-Pipe/CDN platforms.
• Proven track record of engineering, integrating or operating CDN systems.
• Technical studies: Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology/Faculty of Automation and Computer Science.

• Perform on his own and steer vendors planned work activities, software upgrades and parameter changes in TV network elements ensuring the quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities.
• Support fast resolution and restoration time of service incidents by proper coordination of VNO resources and also other Vodafone internal or external teams.
• Accountable for TV service stability; high level of use of independent judgement and proactivity is required to meet KPIs and to ensure seamless service for the markets.
• Perform acceptance test and integration/configuration activities of new network elements.
• Actively influence operational efficiency and operability of the deployed TV solutions by creating operational requirements in the context of new developments.
• Provides on-call duty as per roster
• Stand as a technical reference for the managerial team and OpCo stakeholders.
• Own the technical development within the operational team and ensure technical training is effectively deployed within the team to match to future service roadmap.
• Produce documentation and technical reports on AVP system performance on periodic basis.
• Collaboration with experts from all areas (Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Field force, COPS, Marketing).
• Active cooperation and communication with suppliers TAC and business partners.
• Preparation and presentation of decision-making materials and analyses.
• Direct interface to senior stakeholders and markets at ad hoc basis.
