    Qualifications

    • University degree in Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics,Telecommunications or a similar field of study;
    • Experience in:o SW planing, Project management, System engineering, Systems Architecture, SoftwareArchitecture, and Software Development principles (V-model, Agile, configuration management, requirementsmanagement, design methods like FMEA, DFMA, );
    • Software integration and test methodologies and tools (e.g. Jenkins, ECU Test, etc);
    • Know-how: at least 2 years of experience in project management for the automotive industry or 6+ years ofprofessional experience with software development, understanding of the ECU software and hardware;
    • Personality: be able to take ownership of projects and tasks;flexible, team-oriented, self-motivated, strong curiosityand enthusiastic,not afraid to think outside the box and try to find creative approaches to your challenges;
    • Working method: analytical thinking, interdisciplinary thinking, structured, good problem solving skills andresponsible way of working; willingness to travel on a regular basis
    • Languages: Excellent oral and written communication skills; English fluently spoken and written; German represents an advantage.

    Job Description

    The launch manager is the leader of the launch team responsible for implementing the planned activities / actions. Heis responsible to track the deviations and counter measures. The launch manager is the single point of contact withinRB organization and with the customer.

    In your role you will:

    • Supports the production and ramp up at customer side
    • Works together with the PEC-C and PEC-H
    • No interruption in the series production in the Bosch plant, in the Tier N-plants (directed parts) and in the vehicle orengine plant by the Bosch products. Thereby meeting the customer requirements and increasing the customersatisfaction
    • Ensuring a stable production ramp-up without unplanned logistics activities
    • Avoiding negative impacts on other production processes of Bosch and at the customer locations
    • With production ramp-up at the customer location, achieving the customer objectives for 0 KM and field failures
    • Minimizing the complaints is the responsibility of Bosch (B) and customer (C) as well as products that the customerdeclares to be defective, but still meet the specification(S)
    • Early detection, prevention, and elimination of weaknesses in the Bosch product and in the customer plant. Inparticular, recognizing, understanding, documenting, and evaluating the relevant processes for the customer.
    • Common process and product improvement with the customer before and after the production ramp-up at thecustomer location.
    • Reduction of warranty and recall risks through temporary additional quality measures at the beginning of theproject, during the series ramp-up and in case of changes after the start of series production.
    • Make decisions within approved working area based on work breakdown structure, capacity and efforts.
    • Escalate decision needs beyond working area to the relevant stakeholders or customer project if necessary.
