    Requirements

    Essential skills and attributes
    • Adept in using SEO tools – Semrush, GSC, Google Analytics, Data Studio,
    • Strong understanding of SEO best practice and implementation of (technical and on page)
    • Experience in keyword research and intent analysis, competitor research, and content brief creation
    • Project management skills
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Customer focused
    • Can confidently challenge assumptions and ask questions
    • Ability to interrogate data to get the most accurate picture
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain, simplify, educate and negotiate
    • Good stakeholder management
    • Good understanding of traffic and conversion metrics, and confident in interpreting data and converting it into actionable insights.
    • Results-driven with the ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects
    • Team player and enjoys being part of a close-knit digital team

    Required experience
    • 2+ years hands-on experience as an SEO specialist/executive
    • In-house or agency background
    • B2B marketing background

    Nice to haves
    • Previous experience working for a large, corporate organisation
    • Digital PR / off page SEO experience
    • Experience with Supermetrics
    • Experience using Umbraco CMS
    • Basic understanding of using, and creating, regex for reporting
    • Experience in website migrations
    • Experience with enterprise application software, cloud computing / SaaS business solutions

    Qualifications
    • BSc / BA Hons degree in a relevant field

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborating with a range of digital and marketing stakeholders (marketing generalists, content marketing managers, PPC specialists, CRO specialists, etc.) to ensure organic traffic is of high quality and is converting
    • Act as a consultant/SEO expert to our internal stakeholders, providing guidance and best practice recommendations and support
    • Work closely with web leads and digital squads to drive the search-first agenda and deliver the SEO strategy
    • Work closely with our digital marketing agency to plan and deliver the SEO strategy and roll out on-page and technical SEO recommendations in-house
    • Implementing technical SEO changes surfaced by our agency and identified via internal hygiene checks (schema updates, redirect chain fixes, H1 duplication fixes, etc.)
    • Liaise with our internal UX team and external development agency partners to implement necessary changes to improve site performance
    • Provide comprehensive keyword research and gap analysis to guide content marketing managers and copywriters on search-first content creation
    • Supporting content teams with content production to ensure SEO best practice is baked into process
    • Create detailed briefs for internal and external copywriters to create search-first content based on keyword research and competitor analysis
    • Monitor SEO performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis - using tools such as GA, GSC, and SEMrush
    • Conduct formal data gathering and analysis for our monthly Digital Performance Reports – reporting on SEO performance against our KPIs
    • Use data and insights to provide a simplified commentary to stakeholders to showcase key takeaways and to inform actions for organic improvement
    • Monitor algorithm updates, analyze impact and share performance updates and takeaways
    • Support the development of Search First best practice learning materials and training documents including checklists, masterclasses etc. to educate and upskill colleagues in SEO
    • Help educate other areas of the business and marketing stakeholders on SEO best practice
    • Proactively stay up to date with the latest SEO news and industry developments - communicating key updates with the digital team
    • Safeguard and evolve the IA of the website and providing justified recommendations for site restructures or the placement of new webpages
    • Work closely with the Migrations and Acquisitions team to support site migrations into TAG.com - sense-checking keyword research, advising on content strategy and IA structure.
    • Audit areas of the site and conduct competitor analysis and keyword research to make recommendations for improving organic visibility
    • Manage our tracked keywords in Semrush to ensure it is up to date accurately reflects our performance and value proposition
    • Review and approve blogs and web content against search-first best practice guidelines
    • Work in Umbraco CMS to optimize web pages
