    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, banking, foreign languages or law.
    • French skills (min B2 level)
    • English skills (min B2 level)
    • Previous experience in KYC/AML/ due diligence in corporate or investment banking is a plus
    • Experience in working in a client facing environment.
    • Exposure to process improvements best practices.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Meticulous attention to details and strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent collaboration and team spirit, positive attitude.
    • Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of the team.
    • Highly analytical person with ability to identify risks and make decisions in regards to important information.
    • Hands on with strong organizational and problem solving skills.

    • Flexibility to work across various KYU internal projects may be required from time-to-time.

    Responsibilities

    As part of the Know Your Supplier (KYS) project within KYU, the KYS Analyst will perform activities meant to analyze and check conformity and risk for SG Group suppliers in scope.

    The objective of KYS is to control and manage the supplier’s risk in line with our regulatory obligations. Everytime the SG Group uses a supplier, a commercial relationship is established and triggers due diligence and KYS requirements.

    Specifically, you will be required to:

    • Perform the KYS analysis and risk classification for the on-boarding of new suppliers, periodic KYS reviews for existing ones and ad-hoc requests.
    • Evaluate the risk profile of the supplier based on the objective criteria specific to the KYS framework.
    • Perform initial checks for the in-scope supplier such as duplication, exclusion, activity, and contract status check.
    • Analyse existing documents and collect, if needed, all the other missing documents to perform the KYS analysis. Documents are collected from public and paid sources as well as from the requester.
    • Perform reputational checks, as the due diligence requires, in all the approved sources for exclusion, sanctions and embargoes, politically exposed persons and negative news.
    • Process all the information gathered and mitigate all the needed ones to carry out the final and correct supplier risk rating.
    • Reports compliance risks identified according to the legal framework.
    • Be autonomous in interpreting procedures on a case-by-case basis, diverge from the fixed process and apply exceptions independently.
    • Develop and maintain a good understanding of client due diligence requirements.
    • Actively participate to the process development and improvement.
    • Actively participate to achieve the agreed KPI’s of the project such as Quality, Quantity and Service Level.
    • Participate in meetings with SME, stakeholders, top management and provide inputs and recommendations as well as fully assimilate all the information that is provided.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, aiming to constantly improve and facilitate existing procedures and way of working.
    • The scope of responsibilities for this role may be expanded as needed.
