Senior Process Engineer (Laser)

• The process engineer we are looking for will take the ownership of a process in which highly advanced thin ceramics and copper sheets are processed with high precision LASER equipment. The processing consists in scribing, drilling and marking with different High Technology LASERs. Additional, he/she will take care of the adjacent automations and auxiliary processes.
• The freedom to define process strategies and improvements is ensured. The technical ideas can be brought to life by fast prototyping workbench (with 2D and 3D modeling and engineering software, 3D printer, with no restrictions to use), support for automations, etc.

• Monitoring and improving efficiency and quality results (SPC, cycle time, etc)
• Optimization of the process parameters and equipment improvement
• Support of the quality management in non-conformity analysis and in the elaboration of non-conformity reports (8D)
• Updating existing parameters, instructions or specifications and new product specifications
• Communication with the suppliers or internal departments (R&D, Sales, QM, etc.) on expansion projects for equipment configuration and commissioning
• Defining and implementing corrective actions for external non-conformities

• Completed higher education in technical field
• At least 4+ years experience in process engineering
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
• To have a quality mindset in this position, to be teammate and a mentor for training our colleagues
• Advanced English is required.
