Supplier Quality Engineer

Main objectives of the job :

• Maintain a good relationship with the suppliers, solve in a professional manner the problems with suppliers
• Develops the existing suppliers
• Support the approval process of the new suppliers
• Manage complaints to suppliers
• Monitors the performance and actions to improve suppliers
• Plan and perform audits at suppliers

• Participate in the process of selection and approval of the new suppliers
• Prepares and monitors quality complaints generated by the suppliers
• Conducts investigations regarding quality and correction requirements asked to suppliers (8D reports)
• Monitors the results and corrective actions taken by suppliers.
• Identifies and develops plans and projects to improve suppliers’ performance
• Part of the team who certificate the new processes and products or activities that lead to change the processes and the products
• Approves the PPAP
• Performs periodic evaluation of the suppliers and reports supplier’ performance
• Carries out audits at suppliers, prepares audit reports at the supplier and monitors the corrective actions implemented following the audit

• Technical university degree
• VDA process audit certificate would be a would be a great advantage
• At least 1-2 years experience in the quality field
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Advanced English language skills is a must
