Product Owner - Data Analytics & Reporting for R&D - heat CT TM

We are looking for a motivated Product Owner to lead the development of Data Analytics solutions for monitoring and reporting Programs in the area of Research and Development (R&D), to transform Continental's data landscape into a key enabler for innovation and value generation. We drive the implementation of a holistic approach to enhance our analytics and AI capabilities through data, companywide. At the core, we deliver solutions for enabling data intensive applications, especially in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics. Beyond that, we act at the front of digital transformation, engaging in the promotion of a new mindset for data, impacting also positive changes to processes and organizations.

Main tasks:

* Work with IT, Data Scientists and Business stakeholders to design cloud-and on-promise solutions, highly available Data Infrastructure and Services for Data Analytics, Monitoring and Reporting solutions
* Act as an interface between Scrum Team and stakeholders / Product Management and represents the stakeholder vision;
* Understand and translate business and application specific needs into technical requirements
* Create and maintain the content of the Product (Define Epic, Stories, Features, MVPs)
* Backlog in time by adding, deleting, refining and prioritizing customer requirements;
* Prepare the Sprint supported by the Scrum Master and defines sprint goals based on the priorities from the Product Management;
* Defines priority within the Product Backlog for sprint cycles;
* Define acceptance criteria for the stories and take over responsibility of the implemented stories by accepting them from the Development Team;
* Leads the initial effort estimation;

Qualifications

Mandatory

* Previous working experience as a product owner or project management for Data Analytics applications
* Experience with Visualization and Monitoring tools (eg., Tableau, PowerBI)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Team player with intercultural competencies

Nice to have

* BA in computer science, information systems, statistics or other relevant field
* Experience leading development of reporting applications and state of the art solutions in this field
* Basic knowledge about continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins)
* Basic knowledge of programming: OOP / Scripting languages (eg., Python, Scala, R, Javascript etc) is a plus
* Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies
