    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a Software Engineer with Computer Vision skills for ADAS Rail Projects to work within our team. As autonomous driving is becoming a reality in the field of railway, you will be developing solutions and products that will shape the mobility of tomorrow. This comes as a need for the oncoming decades, where automated and connected road vehicles may become ubiquitous, exceeding road infrastructure and potentially arrive at a stalemate.

    You will be responsible for the development and integration of video perception solutions for the Rail Automation projects. All of this is done to allow the trains to "see" and "understand" their surroundings and possible dangers, reducing or eliminating consciously or unconsciously taken human errors, as well as reliably and considerably extending the "operating range" of train drivers.

    In your role you will:

    • actively select and drive the implementation of state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms within the team;
    • review the requirements including alignment with the stakeholders;
    • create software design, implement and test software components;
    • evaluate your results with reference sensors (Radar, Lidar), based on own developed methods and KPIs;
    • produce high quality software by writing unit tests, following coding guidelines and writing documentation;
    • communicate the risks to the project team as soon as they are identified;
    • work in an agile team and will take part in the continuous improvement of our solutions and working methods;
    • be involved in customer projects and proof of concepts for the next generations;
    • be the technical contact person for other teams (possibly international) and discuss concepts and requirements;

    Technology Stack:

    • C/C++
    • ROS, Linux
    • Python, MATLAB
    • OpenCV
