    Qualifications

    Who you are:

    • You have a university degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, Physics, or comparable
    • You have good knowledge of automotive systems and functional concepts (e.g. powertrain, driver assistant systems)
    • You have good knowledge of model-based software development using MATLAB/Simulink/ASCET
    • You have experience with embedded software development (e.g. C programming language)
    • You have experience with automotive vehicle communication (preferably CAN bus)
    • You have experience with signal processing and control

    We would also appreciate:

    • If you are willing to travel
    • If you have scientific research experience

    Job Description

    Our team is responsible for the development of integrated software components for new electric mobility devices as well as for internal combustion engines and fuel cells.

    Our team is happy to welcome you. Here is what you will be doing if you choose to join the team:

    • You will develop innovative physical models for real-time automotive control units, in specific functionalities like: regulation of air systems (e.g. for fuel cell or combustion engines), fail-safe monitoring and other various automotive software functions for Bosch Powertrain ECUs based on input information concerning torque, engine speed, various actuators, all signals which characterize the driver's demand as well as external commands;
    • You will analyze, discuss and clarify requirements in a very close cooperation with our customers;
    • You will design and define the best and most robust functionality, using Matlab/Simulink/ASCET, following a model-based software development approach;
    • You are going to test modules and software integration testing;
    • You will be in charge of the documentation of software components;
    • You are going to participate actively and have responsibilities in each phase of the project, from start to production;
    • You will have the chance to cooperate closely with international development partners (HW engineers, Mechanical Engineers, System engineers, Test engineers, etc.);
