    Qualifications

    • University degree in Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or comparable
    • Experience with embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry and C programming skills
    • Understanding of UDS standard and AUTOSAR
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python)
    • Embedded software/system testing knowledge and experience
    • Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN/CANFD, Flexray
    • You are eager to work with the newest automotive technologies, understand complex systems and shape the behavior of the future cars
    • You are proactive and you adapt easily to new development environment, but don't worry, we will be there every step of the way, supporting each other
    • You are self-motivated and take ownership of your tasks and projects
    • You're a team player and offering and receiving feedback comes naturally
    • You're not afraid to think outside the box and try to find creative approaches to your challenges
    • English language at a good level is mandatory

    Nice to have:

    • Previous experience with simulations (e.g. modeling, SystemC TLM, co-simulation platforms) and FMI is considered a plus

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a ECU SW Simulation Engineer to work within our team.

    Simulation of an ECU is the new trend in automotive industry. It's becoming more challenging when it involves simulation of SW, HW and mechanics all together. You now have the possibility to contribute in developing such a trend by implementing virtualization solutions for Electric Power Steering systems.

    In your role you will:

    • Develop or integrate in the complete software virtual solutions for different components/features of the real target embedded software
    • Implement software solution that are applicable to different platforms (Linux, Windows, real time PC) for 32/64 bits machines
    • Adapt and maintain the RestBus simulation model for vECU
    • Software requirements analysis, effort estimations, module and integration tests, debugging of vECU and real ECU
    • Be responsible for the test execution, analysis of test reports, documentation of test scripts in qualifying vECU as solution for release testing
    • Be the direct interface with customer to clarify requirements and propose solutions
    • Have a close cooperation with international partners (Australia, China, Germany, India, USA), with different other stakeholders for providing vECU solutions
