• You are responsible for FEV’s Middleware System which you provide as a managed service to your colleagues in FEV IT.
• You are responsible for the middleware service strategy and service management, service roadmap, priorities, budgets, negotiations with partners and suppliers, and authorization of the release of new capabilities. You also drive service maturity and service metrics for FEV’s Middleware System.
• As the service owner for FEV’s middleware, you need to build the bridge between projects, application owners and the middleware suppliers, translating functional and non-functional requirements into technical specifications that can be implemented by FEV middleware suppliers.
• You assert a demand driven, but ideally predictable supplier utilization for reliable capacity management and cost forecasting. If needed, you must be able to organize and execute (agile) implementation projects together with the supplier’s implementation team.
• You work in alignment with Data Management, Enterprise Architecture Management, Business Application and Engineering IT to provide a solution that supports FEV digitalization strategy in all areas.
• You manage the middleware supplier lifecycle, being responsible for the supplier selection and contracting processes as well as SLA, budget and overall performance monitoring and contract ending.
• You continuously manage and optimize the related middleware software-licenses.
