    Qualifications

    • Technical degree in Automotive, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics, or comparable fields
    • Professional experience with software development and test automation, basic understanding of the ECU software and hardware
    • Understand the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including requirements engineering, design, verification and validation
    • Automotive standards and processes: ASPICE, ISO26262 (Functional safety), AUTOSAR, V-Cycle, Scaled Agile Framework
    • Embedded system development
    • Experience with requirements engineering tools and development guidelines
    • Experience with Systems Modeling Language
    • Basic embedded software development (e.g. C/C++ programming language)
    • Knowledge of system architecture, system design, requirements management of driver assistance and automation systems
    • Experience in software development & the assessment of work packages 
    • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
    • You have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a System Software Designer to work within our team.

    Are you interested to work in powertrain systems? Do you like to influence the creation of a product taking into consideration safety, reliability, and all levels of technical aspects?

    You will be developing, together with us, Powertrain systems for the automotive industry. We are looking for a passionate engineer who possesses the necessary skills and is eager to learn new ones, thus helping us during our journey of shaping the future of autonomous and electrical driving.

    You will focus on contributing to Powertrain systems for the world's largest automotive OEMs based on classic internal combustion and the new generation of engines.

    In your role you will:

    • Perform analysis of customer requirements with stakeholders and the development team, taking automotive standards into account
    • Create the Requirements that the multidisciplinary engineering teams will use to develop their part of the system
    • Define, analyze, and coordinate functional and non-functional system requirements in the Requirements Management tool
    • Define and analyze the component level from the system level and the system level from use cases
    • Be responsible for performing technical review rounds
    • Perform analysis on the issues that are reported by the customer and our own testing team
    • Lead discussions with the Project management and cross functional engineering teams (Software, Hardware and Mechanics)
    • Follow and support testing process and check the results to make sure the system fully meets internal and external customer requirements
    • Actively contribute to reviews of Requirements and Implementations to ensure that we develop the system correctly
    • Support acquisitions and estimation of work packages 
    • Understand the customer expectations and needs to design the right solution
    • Plan and implement new features and products, as well as preparing decision templates for them 
    • Support the planning of the project, giving input regarding effort estimation on function/component level
