Automation Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering;
• Minimum 2-3 years-experience in a similar position, ideally in automotive;
• English language at conversational level
• Good use of PC and internet within the limits of the job
• Experience on Siemens PLC programming, Step, TIA Portal is an advantage.

• Remediates all mechanical and electrical equipment and component failures in the factory
• Follows troubleshooting instructions
• Instructs maintenance technicians technically and theoretically on factory equipment
• Follows up maintenance indicators and targets with the team
• Coordinates continuous improvement activities with the team
• Performs curative, preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment according to plans
• Performs root cause analysis of faults, diagnoses them, determines the type and method of fault and fault removal
• Attends the installation of equipment
• Performs control/monitoring/evaluation of spare parts
• Performs low cost, high quality and timely maintenance activities on equipment and components.
• Performs monthly analysis of plant shutdowns, producing a pareto, and based on this pareto, an action plan.
