    Qualifications

    • University degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics, Mechatronics or comparable
    • At least 2 years of experience in SW development for automotive projects
    • Leadership experience in cross functional teams
    • Knowledge in product engineering processes, methods & toolboxes (e.g. focus matrix, DRBFM, FMEA)
    • Moderation and negotiations capability
    • Analytical and creative way of thinking
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills
    • You are self-motivated and take ownership of your tasks and projects
    • You're a team player and offering and receiving feedback comes naturally
    • You're not afraid to think outside the box and try to find creative approaches to your challenges
    • English language at a good level is mandatory
    • German language is considered an advantage

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a "Software Project Leader" to work within our Automotive Steering division.

    In your role you will:

    • Coordinate the development activities for Electric Power Steering projects
    • Define project plan in respect to scope, time and resource, and monitor the progress to meet customer expectations, including cross-functional alignment with other disciplines (HW, Mechanical, Testing)
    • Develop and implement defined technical content according to project targets
    • Perform risk management for SW domain and support Project Manager in defining measures for mitigating identified risks.
    • Evaluate and plan technical requirements and estimate the efforts to fulfill the project scope
    • Align with development train regarding Sprint content in the Agile framework (e.g. Sprint Planning, ticket creation, define prioritization)
    • Consult with customer on technical discussions
    • Offer support to Project Manager in the management of technical issues
    • Prepare SW releases, fulfilling Bosch quality standards and present current project status to stakeholders (customer, Bosch Management)
    • Participate in each phase of the project from acquisition to project closing phase
