    Job Description

We are currently looking for a Simulation Software Engineer for Fuel Cell Powertrain to work within our team.

Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) are an emerging trend in the automotive industry. We at Bosch are invested in developing efficient solutions using this new and exciting technology.

SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) is the new direction to accelerate the software development in the automotive industry and, therefore, reduce the time-to-market factor against the challenge of simulating SW, HW and mechanics all together.

You now have the possibility to contribute to the development of such a trend from the role of a Simulation Software Engineer specialized in Fuel Cells, Hydrogen Storage and E-Machine systems.

    In your role you will:

    • Develop complete SIL solutions for different fuel cell powertrain architectures
    • Integrate all simulation artefacts which model the real physical components
    • Integrate the virtualized embedded software into the virtual vehicle SIL environment
    • Test virtual sensor and actuator interfaces
    • Analyze system requirements, estimate effort, perform open and closed loop tests, evaluate the simulation environment based on real physical system results
    • Be the direct interface with the customer in order to clarify requirements and propose solutions
    • Have a close cooperation with different stakeholders to provide virtual vehicle setup solutions
    • Have a close cooperation with international partners

     Technology Stack:

    • Programming languages and Tools: MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C/C++, Python, Silver, GIT, ETAS tools
    • Safety standard ISO26262
    • Automotive Communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Ethernet
    • FMI standard
