    Candidates

    ING Data School is dedicated to:

    • Students and graduates that want to start a data career

    Data enthusiasts still enrolled in an educational program – final year at Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike or who have recently completed their studies.

    • Career changers

    Data enthusiasts that have at least 2 years of experience in a work environment and want to upskill their career or to change their actual domain of activity.

    What is ING Data School?

    ING Data School is a learning program dedicated to all data enthusiasts that need support and resources to achieve or upskill a data career.

    Participants are selected and enrolled in a 3-months training program, having the opportunity to dive deep into Data Analytics areas through both theoretical information and hands-on exercises.

    The goal is for students to acquire both the hard and soft skills needed for a Data Analyst role, while also having the first contact with the organizational culture within ING.

    Data School is also meant to solve one of the challenges that each data enthusiast encounters – accessing all the necessary resources in one place, while also combining them with real life projects and challenges.

    Candidates will simulate an end-to-end process through hands-on projects that will help them fully understand the role of the technologies used and the skills acquired.

    At ING Data School we create a dynamic environment that stimulates the continuous learning and development for the future data specialists.

    General Details

    • ING Data School is a 3-months hands-on training program (October 5th – December 23rd)

    • The students are selected based on a recruitment process.

    • The courses take place every Wednesday, from 18:00-21:00 at Dacia One Building.

    • Each course includes both theoretical part and hands-on use cases.

    • Main qualifications and competences gained by the end of ING Data School:

    • Data concepts

    • SQL – querying data

    • Power BI – visualization techniques

    • Python – main libraries to preprocess and visualize the data

    • Soft skills – translate the business needs into analytical requests, stakeholders’ management and communication, presentation of the insights and storytelling

    You will be ready to start a rewarding and challenging career as a Data Analyst.
