Transport Planner with English

This role is based in the Michelin Shared Services Center in Bucharest, Michelin Corporate & Business Services, where more than 700 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Sales Administration and Personnel.

What we’re looking for:

• Communication skills (both written and oral);
• Preferably 2 years experience in logistic, supply chain or transport;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
• Advanced level of English;
• Good level of French (will be considered an advantage);
• Organizational and planning skills;
• Attention to details and focus on results.

The Transport Planner will:

• Plan and optimize loads in accordance with delivery dates, filling rates & customer requirements;
• Analyze and treat anomalies;
• Organize the transportation (chartering & slot booking) according to the needs;
• Ensure the availability & compliance of all transport, billing & Customs documents;
• Validate purchasing invoices and treat discrepancies;
• Monitor the execution of deliveries to ensure compliance with the delivery timescales;
• Proactively alert the relevant partners in case of any event, delay or failure regarding the service commitment and engages in the search for a solution to the customer;
• Apply corrective actions in the relevant applications;
• Inform and follow up with the relevant partners;
• Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance works methods, results and customer satisfaction.
