Key Functions and Responsibilities Working in the FTSE DevOps team, you will be responsible for delivering automated testing, deployment and will work on CI/CD for applications deploying into AWS Manage and configure all development and integration environments including tools like Jira, Confluence & Nexus, Git both on premise and in the cloud Monitor the general health & automation of development environment Install, monitor, and maintain integration platforms across products and systems Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring across all FTSE Russell systems Minimum Requirements Linux administration with good experience in shell scripting Experience with CI-CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins) Experience with any public cloud platforms (preferrable Amazon Web Services (AWS), but also Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform) Experience with HashiCorp suite (Terraform) Experience with Ansible Desirable Skills Exposure to Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Experience with financial markets PowerShell / Windows Administration Experience in automation, monitoring and log management Demonstrable SQL knowledge Experience with CI-CD pipelines and tools (i.e., GitLab) Experience with HashiCorp suite (Packer, Consul) Type of Person Articulate, energetic person able to work alone or as part of a team Excellent attention to detail but an ability to think laterally to solve business problems Ability to learn quickly Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Creative, results driven, self-motivated, and solutions oriented Demonstrates a can-do attitude, exhibits self-confidence Excellent organisational and time management skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to liaise with business and technology colleagues Experience of managing or influencing key decision makers Able to establish credibility quickly We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios.
