Quality Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in technical field;
English – advanced level;
Minimum 1 year experience in automotive/production field;
Results and quality oriented;
Attention to detail;
Team spirit;
Good knowledge of Office, SAP;

Follows specifications set by the customer and ensures that all processes comply with internal rules and quality management system standards;
Responsible for ensuring that all members of the segment are aware of the customer’s requirements and expectations regarding quality;
Monitors and audits the production department for non-conformances, participating in the corrective action closure cycle;
Supports the production department in the analysis of non-value adding processes with the aim of minimizing losses;
Continuously collects information specific to quality assurance (evolution and analysis of defects, test data – test parameters, test equipment performance and quality assurance data – activity recording);
Instructs operators on quality issues in the production lines/segment where they operate through specific trainings;
Analyses causes and effectively implements corrective actions using quality tools (8D, 5 Why, 5M, CIP);
Sets up measuring equipment/systems (in the production area), participates in the development of their operating instructions;
Participates in the development of MSA studies and monitors the calibration status of equipment/systems;
Responsible to monitor quality trend by preparing monthly reports and submit them to team members to take corrective actions to meet internal PPM and cost of non-quality targets;
Issues, updates and as necessary approves procedures and work instructions for processes for which he/she is responsible;
