    To lead planning of delivery across the development lifecycle for multiple applications. Senior Technology - Manager Role ProfileThe role is to lead a large Technology Support Team in Bucharest. This entails monitoring staff performance to ensure a high quality; cost-effective service is provided to all members and customers. The team provides development support across multiple locations and business units within LSEG as well as supporting project activities. This is a new role established due to LSEG establishing growing its office in Bucharest and will be actively involved in the set up and development of this new team.This vacancy is available at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Bucharest.Main Responsibilities- Drive the team to deliver service excellence and industry best practice.- Provide technical leadership and a technical escalation point for the team in maintaining and supporting product requirements- Monitor performance of team via continual PMR process as laid out by HR.- Evaluate standards and processes that the support team is involved with and highlight any areas of improvement.- Ensure that co-ordination and communication between the service owners, Global support teams and Management are being maintained in critical development situations.- Review, implement and maintain SLA's with internal and external stakeholders and implement and update escalation procedures where relevant.- Create & review statistics to support client feedback and identify improvement opportunities.- Ensure that all documentation is maintained by relevant staff within the team.- Implement and maintain out-of-hours support in the team as appropriate.- Monitor the ongoing workload and performance of the support team to ensure that the team provide the highest standards of service- Provide regular management reporting to management.- Ensure that timely and appropriate system and business training is provided to all team staff.- Support recruitment activity to build skill groups as requested.- Look for opportunities for team members to grow in role or take on wider positions supporting multiple client groups- Undertake any other duties as may be required on an ad-hoc basis- Ensure teams conform to governance and standards e.g. change control- Where requested, monitor budget and ensure cost control- Seek to streamline processes as part of continuous improvementRequired skills and Experience- Experience of leading a team within an Operations/ Production environment.- Experience of working in the finance/banking sector would be an advantage.- Experience in development operations, ideally having held both development and operational roles- Knowledge of HA architectures (Linux, Unix), AWS cloud, Red Hat- Knowledge of Web based architecture from a development and architectural standpoint and knowledge of web platform management- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical level.- Excellent problem solving skills, able to think clearly under pressure and across technology boundaries.- The ability to plan and manage work and present a clear list of tasks and time frames to management.- Service Management experience and strong ITIL knowledge- Experience working in an agile development would be an advantage- Experience managing resources to provide services within a complex international, matrixed organisation- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across various business lines and time zones
