Senior Procurement Buyer - Timisoara

For one of our clients, world leader in automation production, we are recruiting a customer oriented person for a role of Senior Procurement Buyer.

What critical skills are needed for this position?
- Bachelor Degree;
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience;
- English – upper-intermediate; English, communication on a daily basis with different stakeholders, google translate not allowed
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system;
- Good standard of ability with Microsoft Office applications.

What will be your duties and responsibilities in this job?
• Issues purchase orders for direct materials for manufacturing and merchandise upon request in SAP;
• Requests order confirmation within 48 hours and confirms orders in SAP based on confirmation from the supplier on the day of its receipt;
• Checks the confirmed delivery date with the supplier min. 3 days before the scheduled pick-up / drop-off date;
• Communicates with suppliers about delivery dates and their adjustment;
• Organizes transport;
• Cooperates with the economic department in resolving invoices with a non-matching quantity on the invoice compared to the delivered quantity;
• Cooperates with the quality department in complaints against suppliers and returned deliveries;
• Responsible for requesting documents from suppliers;
• Responsible for sending the forecast to the supplier.
