Who you are: 

• You hold a university degree in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, mathematics or comparable;
• You have experience as main technical driver in small software teams (Python or Java or C# or C++);
• You have a minimum of 4 years software engineering expertise and applied Agile knowledge;
• You are experienced with various kinds of design/architecture (Micro services or Big Data, Cloud, Containerization, Pipelines: Argo/Airflow); 
• You have hands-on experience with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS);
• You are familiar with containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm);
• You have working experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL);
• You have DevOps experience working in cross-functional teams;

What you do:

• You drive the implementation of solutions both within and beyond the scope of your team
• You take responsibility for the resource planning of assigned work packages and for the utilized capacity of the team
• You monitor the evolution of the state of the art / upcoming technologies in your respective field for their relevance to the company
• You drive your team in defining, implementing, testing and documenting the developed cloud services and infrastructure
• You actively participate in defining and shaping the strategy of the group and department. You foresee possible implications of strategic decisions on the development and counsel the higher management if necessary
• You self-responsibly align with other Architects/Technical Leads to ensure the smooth interaction of multiple components
• You are the partner for the associates in your team and you contribute to the personal development of the team members
• You initiate and actively take part in the internal and cross-teams/cross-department cooperation and management of working groups by following the strategy of the department
• You actively spread the knowledge internally and you act as a technical ambassador inside and outside of the company
• As a representative of your team, you act like a self-starting problem-solver capable of running a small to mid-sized business by taking as required by the business roles like expert, coach or decision maker.
