IT Technical Analyst - IT (TM)

This position is within the IT Service Management team of the global Automotive IT Infrastructure Datacenter organization. You will closely liaise with our internal customers, internal and external service providers to ensure that all relevant ITSM procedures and guidelines are met, committed quality and maturity levels delivered. As Technical Analyst, you will play a key role within the Business Managed Applications processes where you will assess our customer's requests and based on your evaluation and expertise will support them to implement the most fitting technical solution. You will have the possibility to develop and implement own ideas, work independently within the specified framework and thus have a direct impact on the success of the future Automotive IT as well as Automotive business.

* Provide technical consultancy to multiple managed services customers
* Provide IT Infrastructure recommendation and solution architecture based on customer requirements
* Preparation and compilation of technical documentation for infrastructure support
* Proactive support for multiple customer and internal hosted environments
* Ability to present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Analyze and identify recommendations for enhancements based on ITSM (guided by ITIL) best practices Conduct technical surveys assessing application owner needs and identify infrastructure utilization optimization opportunities
* Active involvement within the ITSM team, providing support on the current processes and ongoing projects and improvements

This is what it takes to be a successful in IT Technical Analyst:
* Minimum 2-3 years of working in the field of IT Infrastructure (Hardware, OS - (Linux&Windows), Network (TCP/IP), Storage, Virtualization Technologies, Database, Cloud)
* Proven experience regarding ITIL processes and frameworks
* Excellent communication skills with end customers and geographically spread team members
* Proven consulting experience leading the deployment of ITSM processes/solutions based on customer's request
* Good experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating process documentation
* Decision making with an analytical mind-set and strong analytical capabilities
* Planning and organizational skills, high level of dedication, flexibility and independence
* Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while driving sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
* Academic degree, preferably in Information Technology
* Fluent in English (written & spoken)
