    Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree;
    • 2-3 years of working experience in Tax and/or Accounting with a good grasp of VAT concepts;
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (focus on Excel);
    • Excellent command of Romanian and English - both speaking and writing;
    • Team player with a supportive attitude ;
    • Analytical thinker with an eye for details;
    • Well-organized, able to plan and juggle with priorities;
    • Eager to acquire in-depth VAT knowledge.

    Responsibilities

    • Process and review VAT data/ledgers received from our clients ;
    • Prepare and review VAT reporting packages compliant with the Romanian law;
    • Identify potential VAT issues and summarize them to our clients by email;
    • Make sure that the deadlines are met;
    • Support business development efforts - draft proposals, prepare for client meetings/calls, etc.;
    • Help with the development and customization of our VAT apps;
    • Assist clients during VAT audits conducted by tax authorities;
    • Train and coach junior staff;
    • Monitor legislative updates.
