- Creates insights into the relationship between processes and costs and advises the management and project teams;
- Is in charge of looking into decreasing material supply and handling cost;
- Is involved in the creation and implementation of financial project plans (business cases), cost calculations and time and method analysis;
- Connect with F&A department regarding financial related topics like cost prices, cost/savings, capex and capital planning and support of operational result analysis;
- Participates in improvement teams, always searching for new developments and alternatives, which can have a great impact on the total business;
- Focuses on master data management, uses SAP to maintain material master data based on interface with procurement and MF engineering;
- Verifies all components in active BOM are properly costed. Recognizes the existence of a problem;
- Identifies data/information needed to solve a problem;
- Drives Root cause investigation by data and information gathering and formulates a problem statement;
- Understands the underlying relationship among facts and connections between issues;
- Takes ownership of decisions and actions;
- Accountable for low complexity manufacturing process improvement;
- Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements;
- Executes under the supervision of a Cost Engineer or project leader;
- Stop and release process if safety or quality is at risk.
