Java Software Engineer - ePOS Trader Connect

- Have deep knowledge in design and development of highly scalable cloud-based products using JAVA, Spring ecosystem and micro-services architecture;
- Are familiar with automating and scaling tests and deployments with Docker and Kubernetes and DevOps practices (continuous delivery and deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.);
- Constantly challenge the status quo and come up with recommendations to improve the product, identify technical debt and suggest solutions based on a broad level of domain and technical knowledge of modern software development and industry best practices in order to solve a business need or increase the value of our product(s);
- Have expertise or knowledge in working with cloud vendors (GCP – big plus, AWS, Azure, etc.);
- Experience working with some of the following technologies or tools:
- Databases: Cassandra, BigQuery, Firestore, Postgres;
- CI/CD pipeline: Jenkins/GitHub Workflows;
- Orchestration tools: Kubernetes, Docker;
- IaC provisioning tools: Terraform;
- Monitoring best practices and reporting tools (Datadog experience would be a plus).


Soft Skills:

- Must be fluent in English, both writing and speaking;
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and project/time-management skills;
- Ability to work both independently as well as having good teamwork spirit;
- Customer oriented and willingness to build working relationships with our clients.
