Australian Securitized Collateral Analyst

Yield Book Collateral Analyst - Australian Loan Level

The Yield Book is expanding its collateral team in Bucharest, Romania, a team that develops and maintains a structured securities database, which includes modeling of Mortgage and Asset Backed securities, along with ongoing deal maintenance of those securities.

• Collect and standardize Australian raw data in accordance with defined processes, from a variety of sources, to ensure data quality is delivered
• Maintain data using proprietary software tools
• Heavy use of Excel and various modeling tools (in Windows and Linux)
• Provide assistance to senior analysts in Mortgage-backed and Asset-backed securities cash flow modeling and analysis
• Run basic to intermediate level queries to create and pull a wide variety of information from databases and individual files
• Communicate with Trustees, Clients, Traders, along with Yield Book/LSEG staff
• Perform data checks and validation to ensure highest level of accuracy, and help to identify issues with the data while escalating issues appropriately
• Correct errors and ensure that any process changes to improve data collection are in place and communicated to the team

• Undergraduate degree with concentrations in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and/or Data Analytics. Technical backgrounds will also be strongly considered.
• Proficient with mathematical concepts
• Detail-orientated, energetic, and exhibit a high degree of accuracy in their work
• Prior experience working with Excel and various file formats
• Prior experience working with Linux/Unix workstations is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills
