Junior Software Engineer - Java (Ro)

JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a Junior software developer to join our team. The ideal candidate would have graduated in computer science or equivalent, along with proven experience in object-oriented programming. We are working on a hybrid schedule so your presence at the office will be required generally 1 day/week.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing large enterprise system for broadcaster networks
• C# and Java development
• PL/SQL development
• Working as a part of a geographically distributed international team

COMPETENCIES

• Graduated in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• Good understanding of OOP/OOD concepts
• Up to 2 years Knowledge and experience with Java
• A fast learner, Self-motivated and independent individual
• Good understanding of complex processes
• Hands on experience in writing Unit Tests using Jasmine like frameworks.
• Good understanding of Restful Web services, AJAX request handling and JSON structure.
• Proficient understanding of Java script design patterns.
• Proficient in Java Script, HTML, CSS and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Basic understanding of CSS Pre-processor platforms like LESS and SASS.
• MVC/MVVM framework familiarity and experience.
• Proven Agile experience.
• Enthusiastic about code quality, architecture, design, testing, and performance.
• Ability to identify and manage risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and finding solutions to resolve them.
• Innovator by nature. Thinking out of the box.
• Proactive, highly motivated individual with a high work ethic and goal-oriented approach.
• Fluent English (verbal, writing, reading) – A MUST!
• Team player, highly motivated, can-do approach.

Not a must but a great advantage:

• Experience with developing large scale software
• AWS knowledge and experience
