Calculation Crash Test Engineer

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering;
• Experience in a similar position:
• Knowledge of mechanical and physical principles of shocks;
• Experience with finite element method;
• Knowledge of Ansa and Metapost/Ansys;
• Knowledge of Pamcrash or equivalent software;
• Good level of expertise in analyzing the results of the passive simulation.

• Recovering the geometries in the form of a CAD file: body, body equipment, seats, chassis;
• Discretizing missing items with Ansa;
• Completing the model assembly checks according to standard procedures;
• Establishing boundary conditions;
• Calculating the Pamcrash verification model;
• Analyzing the results: validating the calculation, comparison with the specifications, and proposing a change in case of non-compliance;
• Writing a summary note.
