Vehicle System Engineering Architect - SAM (TM)

Drive automotive future vehicle trends in Safety and Motion to the next generation of solutions.

As features are added almost every day you will be part of our Systems team by designing and produce an entirely new architecture for tomorrow cars.

* Derive out System Architectures (OEM or internal reference architectures) current and upcoming requirements on higher Systems Engineering Levels (Ecosystem down till System Product);
* Participate and contribute to PSS, SAM or heat architectures and concepts e.g., scoping an integration platform for Chassis and Safety Applications and establish it within the System architectures;
* Support projects (next generation developments by segments or innovation projects) by mapping them in a "bigger" scope to their important Vehicle Systems, Features and Use Cases within the Systems Engineering and help to derive the defining requirement out of them;
* Structure complex cross-domain system approaches to better/easy identify the PSS stakes in terms of EE/SW products, interfaces, and business opportunities;
* Contribute to new architecture solutions for customer-specific requests;
* Collaborate in innovation teams with cross-domain participation and make the results available;
* Extend the functional expertise on end-to-end mobility eco systems and vehicle architectures.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's in engineering (e.g., computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering);
* Basic knowledge and understanding of software engineering principles and techniques;
* +3 years' experience in embedded software or electrical engineering experience;
* Process oriented and experienced with automotive validation processes;
* Communication skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a diverse environment;
* Knowledge of Rhapsody and/or other modeling / design tools;
* Knowledge of Automotive ASPICE.

Plus Qualifications

* 5+ years of embedded software or electrical engineering experience;
* Experience as a Software or Systems Requirements Engineer or Architect;
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of software engineering or electrical engineering principles and techniques.
