Licensing/SAM specialist

Responsibilities

• Conducting and analyzing software inventory results;
• Assessing license authenticity and reducing compliance risks;
• Purchasing software (helping to prepare specifications for purchases, interacting with suppliers, managing the internal purchasing process);
• Supporting customers (analyzing requirements, finding the best solution, providing the required licenses);
• Maintaining records of the software and controlling its use;
• Maintaining an internal knowledge base on issues of software licensing;
• Participating in the company's IT infrastructure-development projects.

Requirements

What we expect from you:

• Upper-Intermediate English (the ability to read licensing policy documentation, communicate with vendors, interact with customers);
• Excellent analytical skills;
• An overview of IT (an understanding of key technologies and processes in IT);
• Knowledge of the licensing policies for Microsoft, VMware, Adobe and other vendors;
• Necessary experience with analytical work in the field of IT / in IT consulting / technical support (HelpDesk/ServiceDesk);
• Experience with IT management assets / program assets.
