Do you want to be an Application Engineer for ECAD Library? These should spark your interest:
* Analyze technological aspects regarding electronic/electromechanical components description
* Create new library components according to technologies, rules and recommendations qualified as company standard (schematic symbols and PCB footprints)
* Update existing components according to technological changes in the company
* Improve applications' quality by constantly giving feedback
* Collect the needs and requests from electronic engineers and PCB designers
* Analyze the engineering processes, the constrains and problems experienced by the designers and manufacturing locations.
* Work in close cooperation with the team taking care of electro-mechanical 3D models of components
This is what it takes to be a successful Application Engineer for ECAD Library:
* University degree in industrial engineering, electronic engineering or a comparable qualified education/experiences
* Good knowledge of PCB technology (work experience in the area is a plus)
* Knowledge in PCB design (Layout)
* Good skills in using CAD applications
* Specific ECAD library tool know-how is an advantage (Zuken CR-8000, Mentor Board Station, Mentor PADS)
* Be able to work autonomous and being part of an international acting team
* Team player, having inter-cultural sensitivity
* Well (self-)organized person with independent, structured and solution oriented working methods
* Good communication skills and customer orientation
* Good English language skills (speaking and writing)
